Antipasto Squares

2 cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

¼ pound ham, thinly sliced

¼ pound provolone cheese, thinly sliced

¼ pound Swiss cheese, thinly sliced

¼ pound Genoa salami, thinly sliced

¼ pound pepperoni, thinly sliced

12 ounces jarred roasted red pepper, drained, cut into thin strips

3 eggs

3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated

½ teaspoon black pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Unroll one package of rolls, cover bottom of 9 x 13" baking pan. Layer the ham, provolone cheese, Swiss cheese, salami, pepperoni and red peppers on top of dough.

In a bowl, lightly beat eggs. Stir in Parmesan cheese and pepper. Pour 3/4 of this mix on top of meat and cheese.

Unroll second package of rolls, cover top of meat and cheese with dough. Brush top with remaining egg mix. Cover pan with foil.

Bake for 25 minutes in oven. Remove foil and bake additional 15 - 20 minutes until top is puffy and golden.

Let cool and cut into squares.

Mama's Mini-Cinnis

2 8 ounce cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

6 tablespoons butter, softened

⅓ cup brown sugar, packed

¼ cup pecans, chopped

1 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

⅔ cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon milk or cream

¼ teaspoon almond or vanilla extract

⅛ teaspoon salt

Unroll crescent rolls and separate each dough portion along center perforation to form 4 rectangles. Press diagonal perforations to seal.

Stir together butter and next 4 ingredients. Spread evenly over 1 side of each rectangle. Roll up jellyroll fashion, starting at long end. Gently cut each log into 6 (1" thick) slices, using a serated knife. Place rolls 1/4" apart into 2 8" greased cake pans.

Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden. Cool 5 to 10 minutes.

Stir together powdered sugar and remaining ingredients. Drizzle over warm rolls.

Note: to make slicing easier, place unbaked rolls on baking sheet and freeze for about 10 minutes.

Apple Dumplings

2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored

2 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup butter

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle Mountain Dew ™

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Cut each apple into 8 wedges and set aside. Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles. Roll each apple wedge in crescent roll dough starting at the smallest end. Pinch to seal and place in the baking dish.

Melt butter in a small saucepan and stir in the sugar and cinnamon. Pour over the apple dumplings. Pour Mountain Dew™ over the dumplings.

Bake for 35 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aNR9T

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Well, I must admit that I typically just use them as they are for a side option when having things like mashed potatoes and gravy with chicken and what not, and I'm guilty of making them into pigs in a blanket (tasty breakfast results with I replace the hot dog with a sausage link wrapped in a piece of cheese as well as the dough), but here are a couple other ideas-

"Bread" for sandwiches. Instead of making them into the standard shape, just bake the dough and then cut into whatever shape and size and use to replace the standard bread for things like hot ham and cheese. Best with hot sandwiches.

"Pot Pie"- Roll out and use as a crust for making your own pot pie.

"Calzones" and other stuffed pastries- Roll out the dough, cut into squares, and place fillings onto each square. You could make pizza pockets by adding in your favorite pizza toppings and sauce. A chicken-broccoli-cheese combo is tasty as well. Be creative with the fillings!

Not all that creative, I know, but I hope it helps at least a little. I hope whatever you concoct comes out tasty!

Roll large marshmallows in melted marg and then in cinnamon-sugar (1/4 c sugar w/ 1 tsp cinnamon). Roll each one in a crescent, making sure to seal well. Dip the top in marg and then in cinn/sugar. Place in a greased muffin tin and bake according to pkg directions. ( I think it's 350 for 15 mins.) Please wait 10 minutes before you try one. The 'mallows melt and are really HOT and gooey. Better than Cinnabon!

Good Eating!

Pigs in a blanket is always a favorite, but you dont want to use hot dogs. You could use a turkey sausage or another alternative. But you could also make little finger sandwiches
