i need a help for cooking class i like to make a cake but i don't know can you guys give any recipei

Cakes are one great thing to make - Presentation wise too.

A Recipe i personally like is Strawberry shortcake.



Heres the recipe

Ingredients (serves 8)

1 quantity raw Basic shortbread ingredients (see related recipe)

1 quantity raw Basic topping ingredients

1/3 cup redcurrant jelly

2 x 250g punnets strawberries, hulled, sliced

1 cup thick cream

Method

Follow steps 1 through 5 of Basic shortbread recipe (see related recipe).

Place jelly into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 1 minute on HIGH (100%) power until melted. Add strawberries. Toss gently to coat.

Place 1 shortbread triangle onto each serving plate. Spread with cream. Spoon strawberries over cream. Top with another shortbread triangle. Serve.

Notes & tips

You could replace the strawberries with raspberries if you prefer.

Lemon Honey Pie.

500g (1lb) Sugar.

125g (4 oz) Butter.

4 Eggs.

Zest and Juice of 4 Lemons.

Grate the yellow parts of the lemons (avoid the white pith as it is bitter), strain the juice, beat the eggs a little.

Put all the ingredients into a double saucepan or put in a basin and stand in hot water.

Cook slowly until thick and smooth.

Cool.

Pour into pastry shell.

Pour some into sterilised jars whilst hot and cover when cold and use as a spread on your bread.

You can make it more tart by adding less sugar.
