So my mom decided to make us some bacon with my grilled cheese. She had purchased said bscon almost three weeks ago and just opened it Saturday to make it for breakfast. Anyways today is Tuesday. She usually raps it in tin foil in our frige. I'm worried it's bad beacuse it's three weeks old and I don't want to get sick. I only ate about two pieces in my sandwich maybe three I didn't finish beacuse it was hard. My mom zapped it in the microwave and then also fried it in the pan when it was in my grilled cheese . It tasted ok except it was hard and very crispy. What do you think will happen I just looked at the rest of the bacon that is still raw it looked normal but felt slimy which im not sure if it's supposed to feel like or not I have never cooked it before so

The 'slime' is fat that is collecting on the surface of the bacon. It is completely normal and safe to eat.

Bacon is usually smoked and cured, so it can keep for a few weeks in the fridge with no problems. If it starts turning green, you have a problem.

It should be fine. Bacon has preservatives in it, it has been smoked, and is vacuum packed. 3 methods of preservation, gee, I think it is fine. If it did not look moldy, or smell rancid, it is fine. Have your Mom bake the bacon. On a cookie sheet, raised on wire rack, if she wishes, line the sheet with foil, and throw it and the grease away. I save my grease to fry potatoes in.

Bacon is cured and doesn't go bad like other meat.It can either go slimy or dry, depending on how it is stored but seldom goes bad.

You are fine. Bacon lasts a long time. It is already cured and FULL of chemicals.
Truth be told, that I miss you

If it was frozen you're probably fine. Even if it was just refrigerated it might still be okay because they put a ton of preservatives in meat these days.

Try swallowing a pill of charcoal, it's good for food poisoning. It's good to have on hand anyways. It's not the kind in your fireplace, they have bottles at health food and vitamin stores.
