Chicken broth or chicken stock will work. Wyler's makes a freeze dried bullion. It is less greasy and salty than the cubed stuff.

if you have any chicken roman noodles the dry ones in your cupboard use the little seasoning packet that comes in them, you may have to use two for each bullion cube but the flavor will be much better, i use them in place of bullion cubes.

There is lots you can use, but it depends what you are making, If you are making soup u can use water with melted butter. Stock would be the best thing, but its long and expensive to make.Take chicken bones and boil them(important start with cold water) for about six hours.Bullion is knock-off Stock. What you can do if its a roast is use water and booze mix.Hope that helps

Use whatever stock cubes you have, be it vegetable/chicken stock. If you don't have that either, I would throw ham/smoked meat into boiling water in a pinch for the flavour.

If you need it to make a broth, you can just use broth. If you are absolutely desperate, maybe you could use the broth from chicken noodle soup. (I've never tried that, but it might work. My husband uses chicken noodle soup broth to cook rice).

well that's according to what you have in the house, e.g. butter or margarine to add a little celery and onion, let it simmer together with some added poultry seasoning, and there you go. Or take the time and go to the store, huh?

depending on the recipe, you can probably get away with using onion & garlic powders, paprika, salt and a pinch of sugar.
