Hi, is there any special ingredients i should put in to make it taste better? Like a secret recipe? I really want to win this salsa contest haha

Cilantro and Green Chilies are a MUST in
If using Fresh tomatoes add a can of tomatoe sauce or some puree to enhance the flavor.
A little cider Vinegar or lemon or LIME juice(1 tsp per 2 c)
Sliced Green Onions
Pickles Jalapenos (chopped)
Black Beans maybe

I have to agree. I like some peaches with the mango in the salsa. Kick it up a bit with jalopeno peppers and a little crushed red. It's spicy but you get that mango-peach after taste. It's great. Don't use that much cilantro ... it can be overpowering and it's one of those things that people either love or hate.

I won a blue ribbon by adding diced avocado and Queso Fresco to cool the spiciness in my green salsa...good luck!

Mango salsa is very nice...with a little heat...yum!
the right ratio of sweet vs. heat is key...
if you're using a tomato base, make sure your matos are nice and ripe...
it's all about quality ingredients!!
