My friends and I are having a bake sale Saturday to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. What should we have, besides cupcakes, brownies, cookies, puppy chow, ect? We have all the basics. I want something original, easy to make, and tasty.

I always found that fudge went over well because you can put just a few pieces on a plate and a lot of people will buy just a few pieces because they just want a taste, not a whole lot...

Even though it's not a baked good, you could always have jello or pudding. In a dessert buffet, kids will generally go for either of those before they do cookies. Mold the jello in a small clear cup with some canned fruit inside (they'll look nice) and they're sure to sell.

"Candies" such as nuts in chocolate are super easy to make, and look very elegant on a plate. Make some of those with peanut brittle and fudge and you'll be all set.

If you really want to 'wow' some people, you could think about making entire pies and either sell them whole or by the slice. Fall is rapidly approaching, and it's the season for apple or sweet potato pie. Even though summer is technically over, it's still super hot, so lemon meringue pies sound super good too. The cool thing about pies is that you can get the crusts pre-made is disposable pans, and the fillings of most pies are available as canned or instant goods if you're in a hurry.

U should make these puff pastry's filled with nut and honey! I make them a lot, and i luvvvv them!!!!!!!

BUY:

puff pastry SHELLS, (don't but the puff pastry dough)

.Honey

.nut (anykind/kinds)

.sugar

.water

1. grind the nuts in a blender...until they are small chunks (not 2 big)

2. put the nuts in a bowl

3. add 1 cup of honey, 1/4 cup of water, and 1 1/2 cups of suger (u can substitute some sugar for honey)

4.mix them all together

5.put the ingredients in the un-baked phyllo shells (puff pastry shells)

6. bake at 375-400 degrees in oven until golden brown on top

7.add a little drizzle of honey on top before serving

8. ENJOY

I'd say Jello race cars. They are so simple to make. But try keeping them in a cool container.

My step grandma makes them all the time ;-) It takes about 15 minutes.

You have to buy a mold of a racecar, at like a craft store or somewhere.. idk

But you also have to buy jello mix, etc.

People go CRAZY over them.

I hope they sell well!

via the unit, yeah, seems lifelike. as long as there is a minimum of a pound of fudge, then which would be ordinary, however the muffins look kinda steep, i might cost those for $8 or $9. i might pay $thirteen for a purple velvet cake, quite one created from scratch with out all of those preservatives they put in save bought ones. sturdy success!
