I have been looking everywhere for a recipe to make ironport soda because my husband has never tried it and everywhere that sells it is either too far away or doesnt make it right. I know its coke with cherry syrup but Im not sure what else, possibly vanilla syrup. Does anyone know?!?

Copy Cat Cherry Ironport Soda

Ingredients

5 parts sparkling soda water

1 part iron port syrup

Directions

It is way easy to make…just 5 parts sparkling water and 1 part Ironport Syrup. I like to add a bit of cherry syrup, but it is also delicious without it. You can also use the higher quality sparkling water, I just bought the cheap stuff one day.

The home made Kaajals are dark and long lasting but they do smudge a bit if rubbed. The recipe to make is quite simple. Take 2 mud Diyas or Lamps. Light a flame using a cotton stub with aid of any oil. Cover the lamp or diya with the other one leaving a little space for air. Put enough oil so that it lasts for some 6-8 hours. After the flame dies, collect the soot from lamp and use dry kajal. It is very dark and while using, take in finger and blow away extra quantity. All the best! Poonam
