I have a couple of boxes that have an expiration date in Dec. Is it still ok to eat?

That is not an EXPIRATION date, that is a BEST BEFORE date. I answer 20 of these questions a day because people do not know how to read these.

It is a suggested date to eat the product before that date as it will taste the best by that date.

Boxed, canned and packaged foods have so many preservatives in them that left unopened will last for YEARS and YEARS on the shelves. They are perfectly safe to eat way after the best before date.

It is safe and will turn out just fine. Pasta don't expire so not to worry. go ahead and make your mac and cheese.

Yes, that date is the date when the quality will start to deteriorate. It may not taste as good, but it's safe to eat.

If it smells alright and hasn't discolored, it should be okay. Just don't match it with expired milk as well.

absolutely. unless it has a bad odor, color or mold. Its mostly a sell by date. you'll be fine. The pasta is boiled and the rest is powdered cheese product.

It should be fine. If it was several months past date you might want to toss it.

Technically it is a "non-perishable" item. Yes, it should be okay to eat.
