Cooking is a wonderful and rewarding art. Even if you don't have time you can throw together an amazing delicious salad or a stir fry. The whole family can join in the preparation of a meal and it makes it a social occasion as well.
Food from home just tastes so much better and especially if you try and grow some of the foods yourself, even if just herbs.
If you cannot cook, go to a library and get out 10 recipe books and look through. The pics will inspire you and just start with one recipe. Stick to the recipe if you are a novice and this will develop your confidence. If you like the foods you prepared look up the recipe on the net and print it out. Get a collection of foods you love and which help promote wellness.
Cooking is great, its fun and very rewarding.

cook a little more but that is because half the time a work I get food form work.
Maybe eat a a restaurant of get take our 2 to 4 times a week,
I do do a lot of warming food up, eating cold cuts or salad that is easy to make, I have a small wave oven that is good for cooking things like chicken nuggets and fries in the right size for one person. I think toaster over would work as well.
Ate at restaurants even less before children learned to cook for themselves. Even with coupons eating at restaurants can get expensive especially when more than one person even with coupons

Cook at home where I can control the ingredients. Low sodium, low fat, low sugar, low artificial ingredients. There are very few restaurants that offer healthy foods that we should be eating.
You don't have to do much cooking if the main part of your food is raw like broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, celery and fruit. Meat is easy, just put it in a casserole dish and pop it in the oven for a couple hours. Same with potatoes. Crock pot cooking is pretty easy too. There are a lot of sites you can go to for "how to cook" anything you like. I love to bake and cook.

My parents and I always cook :) We don't really eat out a lot.
Cooking is my favorite thing to do for my family and when I'm bored :P And cooking helps you make all kinds of food. When my parents have extra food I experiment with them. Ya sounds kind of weird but I think it's fun :)

I feel eating out isn't healthy nor cheap most of the time and I can cook well, so when I get the time I make protein rich stews that can pile up on the fridge for a few days.

Cook because of price of eating out. Also, the amount of salt and sugar in foods you eat out, even in a good restaurant, would be dangerous to have frequently.

Cook. I control the healthy content of my meals when I cook.
I do like to eat out, and I like the occasional fast food, but 90% of my meals are home made.

I mostly cook.
It is pretty expensive to eat out regularly at restaurants that serve healthy, good quality food.
And the better I get at cooking the less I enjoy eating out. I try to order things I would not or could not cook at home or I am often disappointed in the quality.

I mostly cook, but my husband and I do go out. We have some good but inexpensive ethnic restaurants located quite close to us (a great Thai place, in particular), and we enjoy going out for a splurge to more expensive places, too. In fact, we're going out to a play tonight and will dine at an upscale Italian place we like afterwards.

I mostly eat at home. About half of what I eat at home I cook, and the other half I buy already cooked, like canned soup or lunch meat or fried chicken from the grocery store deli. Or maybe a little more than half cooked, idk.

I eat at home and cook for myself. it's cheaper and the only reason why these BS news stories come up about eat out more is because they're trying to drum up more customers for the fast food industries. Think about it. it's not really cheaper it's just more convenient and if I'm really really tired after working 12 hrs all day for 3 day, I'll order a pizza or something.

My Friend, I enjoy cooking. has to be a real good excuse to eat out.
what your missing is inspiration. After I got sick of eating Ramen Noodles, and other college student cuisine, I bit he bullet, and enrolled into a night cooking course. Best decision I ever made.
