I've kept leftover roast chicken in the fridge for a 5 or 6 days and it was fine. If your curry contains a dairy product like yogurt or cream, I woudn't keep it more than another day (4 days total).

Cooked food will last longer than uncooked, but it might decline in taste quality over time even before it gets to the point where it's totally spoiled (i.e., when you see mold starting to grow on it). Also, different people have different tolerances for when they will eat food that's been in the fridge for a while. I might still be eating leftover curry a week later and have no problem with it, but others might think that's too long. You won't know for sure how long it will last until it's too late. Why take the chance? Split it up into serving-sized portions and freeze it in separate containers. Then you can take one out whenever you want some, and reheat it in the microwave.

Nothing will happen to the cooked chicken curry in three days. Just cook for another few minutes before serving. Cooked food will last much longer in cold weather in the fridge. so I think you are safe. hope I helped.

Even though there are only two or three of us, I still cook for eight.

Tonight I made a huge pot of elbow macaroni in meat sauce with pieces of turkey hot sausage. We not only had a fantastic meal tonight, but I had enough left over to make up 9 individual meals to put in the freezer. On a busy night, it takes 5 minutes each in the microwave to have a home made dinner on the table.

So before your chicken curry ends up in the compost heap, freeze it in meal sized containers. Remember to label and date it. A masking tape label takes the mystery out of the freezer contents.

I think the odds of getting sick from eating this are rather low but still high enough that I wouldn't take the chance, myself. Food poisoning is no fun.
