Question:
Insulated Server High Tupperware?

I recently purchased a insulated server from a tupperware catalogue as a favour for a friend. However, I have absolutely no idea how to go about using it. I didn't go to the party so I didn't hear what the demonstrator said about these products. What can I do with it? Apparently, from what I've read none of it can be used in a conventional or gas oven. Am I meant to cook everything in the regular manner and then just transfer it to the insulated server to keep it warm? If so, it's quite pointless when I can use the slow cooker instead. I need some tips about using it from anyone who has one, and perhaps recipes that you may do? I would really appreciate some advice, or I've just wasted $60 something dollars on something I'm never going to be able to use. Thanks to anyone who can help.

The Insulated Servers are designed for serving food - not cooking food. It's perfect for serving all your hot food favourites, as well as keeping cold food colder longer.

Maximum heat retention is achieved by nesting the two bowls together, creating an insulating wall of air. The bowls are easily separated and can be used independently for serving, storing and transporting.

However, the inner bowl is microwave reheatable on medium (50%/500 watts) setting only - outer bowl and cover are not microwave reheatable. And as you mentioned, don't use them on the stove top, or in a conventional oven.
