Your fries have gone soggy thats all. Still edible though for me. I suggest you refry them. But its to much trouble aint it? Some mustard and ketchup will do the trick.

Strictly my opinion, but I don't think they cook them long enough. The cold oil on the fry makes it seem like it's 'gone bad'. Who likes a soggy french fry? I like them with a little crunch on the outside and tender inside. So, if you have them left over - forget the microwave - put them on a baking sheet and put in a 375 degree oven for 10 - 15 minutes, stirring half-way through. Or, even better fry them in hot oil for another 4-5 minutes.Drain well and re-salt with sea salt.

well if they are wrapped and or packed close together for even a short period of time like 10 minutes they will tend to steam because they are warm. since steam uses water it will be soggy.

I may be bias but don't ever use a microwave for food.

if the fries are layed out and on a napkin or something to absorb excess moisture they will stay crispy.

not a fan of fast food but if you have an empty paper bag from them or lunch bag, put a napkin on the bottom and pour in your fries. don't close the bag!

They taste bad because the oil goes rancid very quickly after cooking, so when you re-cook them you only make it worse. There is no good way to reheat fries.

My advice, hit the drive-thru for some fresh ones and trash the leftovers.
