I like to add peanut butter when making RKT. Then I will melt some semi-sweet chocolate chips and pour over the top. Awesome- I wish I had some now.

you could try those little candy covered chocolate chips or just normal chocolate chips. Also you could add some cocoa to the recipe to make them like the coco pops bars Here in Aus we have the coco pop bars with the candied choc chips but they're called LCM'S Kaleidos and the rice krispie bars are just called LCM's. My kids loved the Kaleidos when they were younger. I would add them to their lunch box as a treat.

I used to make the rice krispie treats on the box, but if you add corn syrup to the recipe they are not so dry and a lot more chewy.

Mini-chocolate chips, sprinkles, drizzle chocolate/white choc on top of bars, dried cranberries, or just frost them! You could also put in a few drops of food coloring to the marshmallow before adding krispies, or add any type of extract (orange, coconut, rum) to make them diff flavors

Yeah i'd say that is tremendous. upload it to the pot earlier you upload the cereal. nutrients colouring is somewhat runny, you should go with to attempt the colouring for frosting/icing. in case you take advantage of that you in ordinary words go with a teeny tiny bit! that is thicker, purely about a melted marshmellow texture, so it ought to not 'harm' the Rice Crispies. very last difficulty you go with is soggy Rice Crispies!

I've made them with fruity rice krispies. instead of rice krispies.
