I'm trying to make bath bombs for Christmas gifts, and the recipe requires 4oz of citric acid powder/granules. Only problem is nowhere around here sells the stuff! I'm wondering whether I could substitute lemon or lime juice into the recipe, and if so how much?

Ta!

P.S. I put this in 'Food' > 'Cooking & Recipes' because I figured people in here would know there stuff ;)

The problem is to attempt to dry your lemon juice so the mixt don't go effervescent before the bath.

But, you can try at your local drugstore. I'm not sure if vitamin C pills would do the trick as I never tried, but it seems too expensive right away.

lemon juice also contains citric acid so in that case you can use lemon juice replace of citric acid
