Even if we don't get radiation from irradiated foods, we are still consuming foods that have been treated with herbiscides, pesticides, etc.. We are also consuming foods that have been packed with MSG, filler, artificial flavors, colors, & preservatives. This is why I try to eat as natural as possible. Just another example of the disdain for American citizens when big business is involved. If we knew half of what goes on with our food, we'd be fighting mad. Many people are now buying "organic" and "clean" food items. ( I expect a big scandal about lies and fraud in this industry very soon since profits are growing.) Research is the key here. What actually works well is iradiated seeds, which are then planted to produce either more fruit/vegi and/or larger sizes without affecting taste. You DO NOT GET RADIATION from irradiated foods......common myth.
