Weber grills are great quality, but honestly, they seem over priced to me. The recipes in the Weber books seem more exotic and complicated. Really aimed towards the higher end of the market in terms of equipment and recipes.

Char-Broil grills look like good quality, but aimed more for the value minded. The recipes in their books seem less exotic, simpler, yet tasty. More geared for the every man.

What do you think?

The weber charcoal grill is top of the line and hard to breat for cooking and temperature control. but as far as the gas grills go Weber is good and worth the money and char-Broil is als good and worth what you pay for it. I personally think the Weber will Outlast the Char-Broil by twice the years.

I have both and use them for different things. The Char Broil (20 years) I have has cast iron grates and the ability to adjust the height of the grilling surface, the size allows for easy high and low heat cooking at the same time. I use the Weber (15 years) for smaller quick fire things like a few burgers or dogs, a couple of steaks or some quick grilled vegetables. I use them both a lot but the Char Broil is much more versatile.

Weber.

Char-broil is a cheap grill that falls apart quickly.

The recipes don't matter. Grilled food is grilled food.
