Can you put Mayo in a sandwich maker? Like if you are making a roast beef sandwich, can you put bread, meat, mayo, and cheese? Does it taste good?

Dont heat up the food with mayo in it already. Wait till its cooked and add it.

Sure you can, but do you know what would taste even better? Instead of plain old mayo, if you have some caesar salad dressing, try that on your sandwich instead. Really yummy and the garlic in it compliments the flavour of the roast beef really well

I would advise no. Mayo is made with eggs, which are whipped and not cooked. When you use it in a cooked dish, the mayo itself will cook. It can curdle, or get rubbery, or jello-like. It'll cook like curdled eggs or end up like a cottage cheese, rubbery yet slimy mixture. Best to use the mayo after you cook your sandwich in the sandwich maker. Really, otherwise it will just fall apart and separate and make your sandwich soggy with chunks of egg white. Hope this advice helps.

Yes, I do it a lot. I've never found the mayo to curdle or become rubbery. After all, tuna melts have hot mayo. And yes, it's really good. I get a hot pastrami with mayo and mustard and it's great.

yes, and for a different twist, spread it on the outside of the sandwich before you grill it in the sandwich maker. it acts as a butter subsitute and you can do some wild flavors w/ the new mayonaise types out now.

Of course you can. You can put what ever you want in your sandwich! And in answer to your last question, yes it would taste good!
