Let's see this is what I'd do with the ingredients you have listed:

Meal 1. "Baked Potato Buffet"

Make some baked potatoed (w/ the white potatoes). Make a slit in each one. Add in some warmed black beans, top it off with 1 T. diced white onion & 1 T. cheddar cheese.

Meal 2. "Marinara Chicken"

In a shallow dish, combine 1/2 C. of breadcrumbs with 1/2 C. flour. Add in a little thyme, pepper, chili powder. Take your chicken, put a little oil all around the pcs. and dredge it in the flour mixture. Shake off the excess flour. Heat up a large skillet on medium heat. Add in some oil, then a little margarine and proceed in browning your chicken. When all the chicken is browned, add in 1 C. tomato sauce, 1/2 C. diced tomatoes, the other half of the unused white onion (diced), 1/2 C. red wine & crushed garlic. Heat everything through, cover with a lid and then turn it on medium low. Let it finish cooking until the chicken is completely done. While the chicken is still cooking, boil up your noodles. Serve the chicken on a bed of noodles topped with some marinara sauce.

Meal 3. "Classic Tuna Melt"

Combine some tuna with mayo. Place the tuna on top of a slice of bread. Add a slice of cheese on top of the tuna mix and top off with another slice of bread. Butter the outside of the sandwich with some margarine (on both sides). Proceed to cook it just like a "grilled cheese sandwich".

Meal 4. " Open Face Hummus Sandwich"

Drain the can of chick peas. Pour them into a bowl. Mash them with the back of a fork adding in a little crushed garlic & a little oil. Season with pepper & chili flakes. Spread it over toasted bread.

Meal 5 "Easy French Onion Soup"

Heat up a pot on medium heat, add in some white onion slices and 1 T. of flour, some pepper & thyme. Saute' the onions until they are tender. Add in the can of chicken broth. Bring it to a gentle boil and turn it on low. When the soup is ready, pour it into a bowl. Top with some shredded swiss cheese & a pc. of toasted bread cut into cubes.

(IF you have an oven proof bowl or mugs, pour the soup into the mugs, top with the bread and cheese and then run it under the broiled to melt & brown the cheese.)

Meal 6. "Sweet Potato Cakes with Crispy Bacon"

Scrub your sweet potatoes, shred/grate them like you are making hashbrowns. Combine the sweet potatoes with little flour, 1 T. of mayo & spices. Get a skillet hot and add in the bacon. Move the bacon to the sides of the pan and add in little spoonfuls of the sweet potato mixture. Press each one down with a spoon. And proceed to cook them like hashbrowns or pancakes. Serve with the crispy bacon.

Hopefully this helps. If I might suggest the following:

It's always great on payday to buy 1 bag of small red beans, 1 large bag of rice. This is how the famous dish of Red Beans & Rice became a staple of New Orleans...the story goes, you ate well on Friday which was payday. But as fate would have it by the following Thursday you made the Red Beans & Rice because it was cheap, it fed alot of people and it was all they had. Oh yeah, if you ever run out of "condiments & basic salt & pepper" just go to your nearest fast food joint and ask for some. Trust me.

Stop at the store and pick up a can of chicken stock and some parsley. cut the chicken into chunks, season with italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Brown in a little EVOO. Remove it an put it aside on a plate (doesn't have to be cooked all the way through at this point... it will go back into the pot. Dice up the onions and garlic, toss into the pan with the brown bits from browning the chicken and saute until them until onions are translucent. Deglaze pan with white wine. Add about a can of chicken stock to it and put the chicken back in. Let it simmer away. Meanwhile, zest and juice a couple of lemons, put in a big bowl with some EVOO. Boil some pasta (whatever kind you have - small shapes work best). Drain the pasta and add to the bowl and toss. Add some parsley and serve the chicken and some of the sauce over the pasta.

Okay, off the top of my head. Sautée the onions, and then add the tomato sauce. Into the tomato sauce goes the beans, the chicken shredded and the spices you have. Then boil for a few minutes. Add some potatoes or veggies. You have a wholesome chili ready to eat.

2. Boil noodles. Toss in a bit of margarine. Add tuna on top. Add the seasonings, and a slice of cheese. Melt in the oven, and a make shift tuna-noodle-casserole, ready to go...

You have enough food there to last you a week!! Cut your chicken up into small pieces and stir fry them with the potatoes, onions and bacon. Or make a grilled chicken sandwich with the bacon, bread and mayo. Or add tuna to your grilled cheese for a tuna melt. Use your tomato sauce and diced tomatoes to make a marinara sauce for the chicken and pour it over cooked noodles. Use the spices like garlic and pepper in the marinara. Hope that helps you!

Ok right off the bat I thought you could saute some onion slices then add chicken and saute with the onions until it's done (5 mins on each side usually) and maybe mashed potatoes either sweet or white your choice but try kraftfoods.com they have this thing where you put like 3 or 4 ingredients and they come up with different recipes for you.

I hope this helped.

Slice and fry some white potatoes in the oil (use the oil sparingly).

Fry some bacon to go with it...OR...a piece of chicken. You could season the chicken lightly with the garlic and/or chili powder if U like.

Make some toast out of some bread and put a little margarine on it if you like.

You could also put some white onion in with the potatoes if you choose to fry some, and fry up a few pieces of bacon to go in it too.

-heat oil in large deep pan(med heat)

Cheesy Chili Chicken with a baked sweet potato on the side

Ingredients

* 2 tablespoons olive oil

* 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves, plus a few whole leaves for garnish

* 1 tablespoon chili powder

* 1 tablespoon ground cumin

* 2 teaspoons kosher salt

* 1 clove garlic, chopped

* 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

* 1/8 teaspoon cayenne

* 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 2 pounds)

* 1/4 cup julienned green bell pepper

* 2 tablespoons diced red onion

* 1 medium plum tomato, cored and diced (about 1/4 cup)

Whisk together the oil, chopped cilantro, chili powder, cumin, salt, garlic, pepper, and cayenne in a bowl; add the chicken and toss to coat.

Transfer chicken to a foil-lined baking sheet and arrange the green pepper, onion, and tomato over each. Roast until the largest piece is just cooked through, and an instant-read thermometer inserted in the thickest part reads 165 degrees F, about 20 minutes.

Remove the chicken from oven and immediately top with the cheese and serve as the cheese melts. Transfer the chicken to a platter or among plates and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.
