I use a roasting bag every year, as well. If you want to use your new pans, you can use the bag with it if you want, just don't use the lid (if it has one). The temp should be the same as a roast, and it will be on the box that the bags come in.

in case you truly desire to roast the fowl in a roasting pan, i does no longer positioned water interior the pan. possibly the quicker remark replaced into no longer conversing of roasting, through fact the water is actual going to steam the fowl. i'd evade the water, put in some vegetables in case you acquire them and confirm you turn them as they get lined interior the dripping fat of the chook. save the temperature up yet - and definite right it somewhat is the respond finally - you could prepare dinner the chook in a extensive pan yet be careful, the fowl has a tendency to burn no rely if it somewhat is in a greater roasting pan than is mandatory. the climate of the roaster that are close to to the chook help save it from burning and those factors interior the large pan would be too a ways faraway from the fowl to be efficient. sturdy luck, and satisfied cooking!
