nothing.

People eat bits of moldy bread by accident all the time. You cannot see tiny mold spores and by the time bread looks blue and fuzzy, the mold has been there for just a few minutes.

People eat mold all the time on certain cheeses, like blue cheese and the rind on Brie cheese.

Not all mold is harmful

There are thousands of different kinds of mold, some are toxic, some are not. Some are even necessary to make food nice: camembert, blue vein cheeses, soy sauce and some desert wines get their flavours fom certain molds grown in controlled conditions.

If you find a moldy item in your fridge, it is impossible to know whether the mold is harmful or not, so it's best to avoid it.

If you've eaten some and are having trouble breathing or are feeling ill, go see a doctor.

I would never eat mouldy meat, but I know I've had (small amounts, generally accidentally) moldy bread, cheese or jam and had no side effects (as far as I know).

As far as I know salmonella bacteria re not classified as 'mold'.

Just last week a ate half of a moldy cupcake with out realizing it, and probably ate a full one the day before. I noticed there was blue mold spores all over it. It is a little bit shocking, but nothing bad happened to me, you can't even tell.Eating a little bit a mold isn't bad for you!

If it was just a little that was on cheese or bread or something you should be fine. A little mold won't hurt you unless you are allergic. If you ate more than just a little and you start to feel sick then go to the hospital. I'd you ate a lot then I would go to hospital. But others have said if it's just a little bit you should be fine but if you start getting sick you should go see a doctor.
