I really don't eat microwaveable food, but when I do, I will eat Red Baron pizza. There are a lot of microwaveable dinners like Banquet, Stouffer's, and more.

Usually foods you can buy to microwave are a little bland. So if you get something, add some hot sauce, garlic powder or fresh cracked black pepper.

I like the campbell's soup microwaveable cans. Then you can get all sorts of instant grits, cream of wheat or oatmeal packets.

Get yourself a copy of the Microwave Gourmet by Barbara Kafka. Some really great recipes for the microwave

But, in general, foods that take well to moist cooking methods do well in the micro. Microwave cooking is essentially steam cooking. Any vegetable does well. Fish does extremely well. Fruits (stewed) work well. And incredibly, your microwave makes the easiest polenta you've ever had. It won't brown /caramelize things, so avoid whole meats like steak. It won't bake breads. It won't make a traditional cake although it does a cake that's delicious although it's more like a pudding (very moist).

You can heat or cook just about anything in microwaves. Always put a lid on what you are cooking to keep the food from splattering all over the inside of the microwave. You can even buy microwave cook ware with lids.

One of my favorites are baked potatoes. Wash you potatoes, wrap tightly with plastic wrap, heat on high for about 9 minutes, squeeze to see if they are soft, if not cook another 2 minutes. Sooooo easy.
