I made a big batch of brownie batter and only made about 12 actual brownies. I put the rest of the mix in a plastic bag and put it in the fridge for later use, but I don't know how long it will last and I don't eat sweets often so I'm worried it's going to be wasted. How long would it last if I froze it? This recipe uses eggs and butter.

you cannot freeze batter. you need to bake the brownies first then freeze them. this is the only way you will end up with an edible product when you take this out of the freezer whenever you do. :)

Well, I wouldn't freeze it as the butter will become separated upon thawing and doesn't blend back into the mixture very well. It will last about a week in the fridge before you have to bake it up.

Refrigerate a few days, just be sure to mix it before you pan it, because it will separate. You dont have any pans? You can make brownie cupcakes if you have a cupcake tin.
