I've seen the size of some non-chicken bird eggs. Should I try to cook these eggs in a nest I've discovered, would it be worth the effort? Are all bird eggs pretty much the same?

Birdie Fetuses. These eggs, unlike the chicken, duck, ostrich, quail eggs you purchase in a market, have been fertilized. This means you will dump damp black pimple eyed proto-birds into your favorite skillet. Bon Appetit.

should you decide to cook robin eggs one must make sure there is indeed mostly if not all yolk inside. to do this you will need a high powered flashlight to be able to help illuminate the contents of the egg. if you see what appears to be veins or the egg is not transparent then the egg is viable and well along in its development. you shouldn t eat the developed eggs unless you are in the mood for a balut esk treat. the egg should be mostly transparent with a darker center that rolls when you roll the egg. these eggs will not taste like chicken eggs but it is up to you to decide if it is a taste worth going for. you may or may not enjoy it.
